Once I start chiropractic care, do I have to continue for the rest of my life?
No. Once we’ve eliminated your pain and stabilized the spine, you’ll be released from care. If you choose to remain a patient and continue with wellness care, that’s up to you. Some patients only come in as needed. The choice is always yours; our doors are always open!
Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?
No. Our care is gentle and customized. The only discomfort you may experience is some mild soreness for 24-48 hours after your first adjustment.
Can chiropractic care cure everything?
No. We specialize in neuro-musculoskeletal ailments.
Why would I have a newborn or young child adjusted?
Everyone goes through some sort of physical trauma during their lifetime. The birth process itself can be seen as a traumatic event. Toddlers and young children also have their share of bumps, falls and accidents. It makes sense to keep their spines in optimal alignment during these years of developmental change.
Can chiropractic care help colic?
Yes. The nervous system controls everything. If there’s even slight misalignment in the neck of a baby, a colicky, fussy child can be the result. By gently realigning the spinal segments, the issue of colic can be resolved.
Does insurance cover chiropractic care?
Yes. Most major insurance companies cover care.
How much does chiropractic care cost?
Cost is dependent on the amount of care, therapies chosen and individual insurance coverage. Most patients find their care to be convenient and affordable.
Do I need a referral from my physician?
No.
